The Preparation

"Up Close and Personal".

It is difficult for a lensman and a videographer to document subjects in a limited space. Although the air conditioning was good and the ambiance is superb, we have to conceptualize a presentation within a limited time and space. This presentation was entitled "Up Close and Personal", as we have to concentrate on our subject at close-up range using macro-lenses at a distant of less than a meter (in this case, we used SIGMA macro lenses), because of limited playing field.

Clients does not usually understand the difficulty of the situation. Beginners in documenting weddings does not usually anticipate these problem (without bringing with them extra lenses), especially those who are into the undertaking purely for monetary consideration and not for passion. It would be advisable then for the soon to be newly weds , their coordinators and lensmen to consider the room or the location where the bride's preparation shall be held. It was good that in Nashee and Ronald's case, the project was personalized.

In regard to the videography aspect, the same applies. What is to be considered is the elbow room to zoom-in and out of the camera without compromising the law of the third as you shall observe in the transitions between still and moving subjects in the later part of this presentation. We took the project in behalf of Ronald's parents for these soon to be couples, Christians as we are.

Herewith is Nashee's preparation - entitled "Up Close and Personal" , we hope that soon to be newly weds, their coordinators and lensmen can learn from this. In You Tube:
